◘ 1/9/10 | Album / Video Release Party Chris Gardner (C-Gar) has been recording and performing his original music throughout Texas and New York for 20 years. He has been called “one of Texas’ bright spots” and established himself as an “innovative and solid songwriter” (Texas Music News). He studied voice for 2 years with internationally renowned tenor David Lee Brewer (Beyonce, Kelly Rowland, Dawn Robinson) and has recorded CD’s with producer Mike Sack (Goo Goo Dolls) and Patrick McGuire (Diamond Rio). After a brief hiatus Chris returns with his 4th solo project which is sure to be his breakthrough CD. Fatt Buttz is a blend of rock, soul, and humorous hip hop songs that is already receiving national attention. Backed by the funk-filled , soulful sounds of one of Houston’s top live bands, Brown and Swerve, it promises to be a night to remember. Chris will also be debuting the first 2 videos (produced by Moonstruck Productions) from the CD: Fatt Buttz, the title track, and Take Me Away, the first single soon to be seen on VH1 and MTV.
